Students in kindergarten, first, second and ninth grade take the SAT-10 by itself, while students in third through eighth grades take a combination of the Benchmark Exam and Stanford 10. End of Course Exams In high school, Arkansas students enrolled in algebra I, geometry and biology courses must take End of Course exams.

Many states are finding legislature being proposed to require students to pass a civics test (usually identical to the USCIS Naturalization Exam) before graduating from a public high school in their state. There are TWO national organizations ( and ) that have set a goal to have this requirement in every state in the next few years.Not all of our messages on the Google Group have been identified as information about this Hot Topic.
All students that are in Civics for their Social Studies Course (the majority of our 7th grade students) will be participating in the State EOC for this course. If your student has Ms. Mejia for Civics they will report directly to the Media Center on Monday May 18th at 8:40 am. If you student has Mr. Hoskins for Civics they will report to the Media Center on Tuesday May 19th at 8:40 am. All Civics students participate in the ePat practice test Today, Friday May 1st.
Students are encourage to visit this website to help them study for the exam along with all other materials from their course. Attached you will find a 2 page letter disclosing information about this state test and a letter from their teachers; students received this letter today in class.
